Professor (Ph.D) Janusz Rębielak, born in 1955, he studied architecture mainly in the field of engineering design of spatial structures, he obtained the Ph.D. in 1982 at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, in Poland. His scientific interests are very broad and concern mainly the methods of calculations of statically indeterminate trusses as well as the methods of numerical shaping and design of spatial structures intended for civil engineering. In the field of aviation and aerospace engineering his research is focused in developing structural systems for VTOL aircrafts and for special type of manned spacecraft that provide their crews with appropriate microgravity conditions. He published numerous papers, including three monographs, he obtains five patents. He is retired professor of the Cracow University of Technology, Poland, where he recently has been a head of Chair of Structures and Construction Engineering. He is married since 1980, has three children.

Ron Barrett received Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Kansas in 1988 and '93 and a Master's from the University of Maryland in 1990 in aerospace engineering. He is a National Academy Fellow, has authored more than 400 technical publications, holds 28 patents, has served on faculties in Auburn, Alabama, TU Delft, Holland, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and KU and coached 44 international aircraft design award winning projects. He currently teaches a range of aerospace design courses and directs research in unique corners of the aerospace world from hypersonic munitions to flying toys to net negative carbon flight operations at the University of Kansas, USA.

Dr. Qin is currently an associate professor at Department of Mechanical Engineering in Tsinghua University, China. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, China,in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and thePh.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China,in 2010. He is the deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, and the deputy chair of Technical Committee for Rotordynamics. Dr. Qin is serving as an Associate Editor of Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, and an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Applied Mechanics, FactaUniversitatis,Series: Mechanical Engineering, et al. His research interests include structuraldynamics, rotordynamics and condition monitoring, nanocomposites, vibration control, and energy harvesting. Dr. Qin haspublished more than 150 SCI-index journal papers with the total citation of more than 8000.

Rongchun Zhang has been Associate Professor of Aero engine Research Institute at Beihang University in China. His research focuses on the flow and ultra-compact combustion of gas turbine engines. His expertise is in the flow mechanism analysis and coupling mechanism analysis of flow and combustion in combustion zone, which is applied to the design of gas turbine combustor. He has supervised over 20 PhD and Master students. He has chaired more than 20 projects, including 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 SCI and EI papers.
