Ron Barrett received Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Kansas in 1988 and '93 and a Master's from the University of Maryland in 1990 in aerospace engineering. He is a National Academy Fellow, has authored more than 400 technical publications, holds 28 patents, has served on faculties in Auburn, Alabama, TU Delft, Holland, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and KU and coached 44 international aircraft design award winning projects. He currently teaches a range of aerospace design courses and directs research in unique corners of the aerospace world from hypersonic munitions to flying toys to net negative carbon flight operations at the University of Kansas, USA.

Dr. ir. Roelof Vos is an Associate Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Faculty of Delft University of Technology. His research focuses on new aircraft configurations and technologies to enable sustainable aviation. Amongst others, he is the lead for the Flying V project, which is carried out at TU Delft in collaboration with industrial partners. Vos has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals, presented over 100 conference papers, and holds 4 patents. He has worked on various projects funded by the European Commission, the Dutch Research Council (NWO), and through public-private partnerships. He teaches courses on Aircraft Design and Aerodynamic Design as well as professional classes on Aerodynamic Design and Hybrid-Electric Aircraft Design. He is the author of the textbook "Introduction to Transonic Aerodynamics." Vos is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and a member of the AIAA Aircraft Design Technical Committee. Dr. Arvind Gangoli Rao, is a Chair Professor of Sustainable Aircraft Propulsion at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, TU Delft. Dr. Gangoli Rao obtained his masters and PhD in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and later worked at Technion, Israel as a post-doctoral researcher. Dr. Gangoli Rao is a specialist in aircraft propulsion and has worked on a variety of problems related to gas turbines and novel propulsion systems for aircraft, especially ones dealing with the usage of alternative energy sources. He has authored around 120 publications. He is listed in the top 2% scientists of aerospace engineering in the study of Stanford University and Elsevier. Dr. Gangoli Rao has been involved in several EU projects and Dutch funded projects on sustainable aviation along with the industrial partners. He is the Dutch representative International Society of Air Breathing Engines (ISABE). Professor Elkhatib Kamal is an Associate Professor in Laboratoire des sciences du
numérique de Nantes (LS2N), École Centrale de Nantes, Nantes 44300, France. He received
the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Menoufia University, Egypt, and
the Ph.D. degree in Automation and Industrial Computing from the CRIStAL Laboratory,
University of Lille, France.
His research focuses on intelligent and robust control systems, artificial intelligence, power
electronics, and energy management for advanced engineering applications. His expertise
includes Model Predictive Control (MPC), robust and fault-tolerant control, fuzzy and neuro-
fuzzy systems, optimization, and real-time control implementation. His current research is
centered on More-Electric Aircraft (MEA), hydrogen-powered hybrid propulsion systems,
intelligent battery management, renewable energy integration, smart grids, and resilient
energy infrastructures.
Professor Kamal has contributed to several major European research and industrial projects in
aerospace, smart grids, hybrid electric vehicles, HVDC transmission, and renewable energy
systems. He has authored and co-authored more than 98 peer-reviewed scientific
publications in leading international journals and conferences and serves on the editorial
boards and technical committees of several international journals and IEEE/IFAC
conferences.
His research aims to develop intelligent, resilient, and sustainable control and energy
management solutions that support the next generation of aerospace systems, clean energy
technologies, and electrified transportation.

Prof. Konstantin LUKIN, IEEE Fellow, received his diploma in Radiophysics & Electronics from Kharkov State University, Ukraine, in 1973. He is Head of the Laboratory for Nonlinear Dynamics of Electronic Systems, LNDES, at IRE NASU. He completed his Candidate of Sciences thesis in IRE NASU and defended it at Moscow State University (MSU) in 1980. He completed his Doctor of Sciences dissertation in Physical Electronics in IRE NASU and defended it at Kharkov State University in 1989. He has been a visiting scientist at the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Trieste, Italy) in 1996-1997 and a visiting professor at the Joint Research Center (JRC, Ispra, Italy) in 1997-198. Senior Associate ICTP in 1998-2013. Since 2023 he is visiting professor in Instituto Tecnologico Aeronautica (ITA, Brazil). In 1991 he founded the Laboratory for Nonlinear Dynamics of Electronic Systems, LNDES, at the IRE NASU, where Dynamical Chaos and Noise Radar Technology are under intense research. For his significant contributions to Radar with Noise and Chaotic signals he was elected as IEEE Fellow in 2009. His current research areas: digital generation and processing of random/chaotic/noise signals and their applications in Noise Radar for SAR imaging; differential SAR interferometry; microwave monitoring of urban areas and detection of pre-catastrophic states of large objects, such as landslides, bridges, TV towers, dams, large buildings, hangars; Computer Simulation of Quantum Noise Radar; Conceptual Design of Reusable Rocket with Vertical Takeoff & Landing Capability. He was Chairman of RTO/NATO Task Groups on ‘Noise Radar Technology' about 20 years. Prof. K. Lukin is author & coauthor of 460 scientific publications, 3 monographs and 5 Chapters in monographs. He was a TPC member of the EUSAR, IRS, SPSympo, IRMMW-THz, MSMW, IEEE IVEC and Chairman of NRT-2002, 2003, 2012 Int. Conferences. He was leader of many int. R&D projects on Noise Radar Systems, ground SAR imaging and microwave monitoring of environment. He was principal investigator of the SCOUT Project under FP-7 Program and Co-Director of 3 Projects under NATO SPS Program: G4809, G5395; G5465. In 2019, his Project G4809 on ‘Compact Sensor for UAV’ (in cooperation with Spain & South Korea) was recognized as the best SPS innovative Project of the last 10 years.

Henk A.P. Blom is Full Professor with Delft University of Technology, holding the Chair in
Air Traffic Management (ATM) Safety, and has been Principal Scientist with National
Aerospace Laboratory NLR, The Netherlands. He is an IEEE Fellow.
His research has focused on exploiting the theory of stochastic modeling and analysis in
two ATM research domains: 1) Bayesian data fusion; and 2) Safety risk assessment. In
the data fusion domain, his novel methods have been implemented in Eurocontrol’s
multi-sensor target tracking system ARTAS. He also received (jointly with Dr. Yaakov
Bar-Shalom) the 2022 Pioneer Award from the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems
Society for the development of the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) approach to multi-
model estimation and maneuvering target tracking.
In the safety domain, he has been leader in the development and application of Agent-
based Dynamic Risk Modelling and Simulation (ABDRMS) methodology, to identify
unknown emergent behaviour of a novel socio-technical ATM design, and to realize
effective feedback to the design. In support of this ABDRMS development, he has
conducted hazard brainstorms with pilots and controllers, and has systematically
organized collaboration with researchers from safety-relevant disciplines, ranging from
human cognitive behavior to rare event simulation of stochastic hybrid systems.

Dr. Willem Anemaat is the President of DARcorporation in Lawrence, Kansas, USA, an aerospace engineering consulting firm he cofounded in 1991.

Dr. Anemaat holds an MSAE degree (1987) from the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. He received his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2007 from The University of Kansas.

Dr. Anemaat served as Associate Editor for the AIAA Journal from 2009-2023. Dr. Anemaat is an AIAA Associate Fellow and previous chair of the AIAA Aircraft Design Technical Committee. He received the AIAA Sustained Service Award in 2021 and the 2025 University of Kansas Distinguished Engineering Services Award (DESA) in 2025. He is the Honors & Awards Chair for the AIAA Wichita Section.

He is the chief architect of the Advanced Aircraft Analysis (AAA) software, a commercial conceptual and preliminary airplane design tool. He is an instructor for KU Jayhawk Global Short Courses in the field of aircraft design, flight dynamics and introduction to aerospace engineering. He has coinventor on two patents and has authored over 60 technical publications.

Serhii Shevchenko was born in 1961, in 1984 he graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (KhPI) with a degree in "Hydraulic Machines and Automation").
In 1990 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Development and research of new designs of gland seals for pumping equipment of nuclear power plants".
He worked in the research laboratory of vibration reliability of machines of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Sumy branch of KHPI (later SumDU): from 1984 to 1994 - a research associate, participated in developments in the field of aviation technology and nuclear power plants.
Since 1995, he has created and managed private enterprises of the machine-building industry of Ukraine, which were engaged in the production of pumping and compressor equipment for various industries.
Since July 2020, he has been a senior researcher at the Pukhov Institute, Institute for Modelling in Power Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IPME).
In June 2023, he defended his doctoral (Doctor of Technical Sciences) dissertation on the topic "Mathematical models of processes in sealing systems of centrifugal machines".
Since August 2024, he has been an academician of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine (head of the Sumy regional organization).
Since January 2025, he has been the scientific supervisor of the fundamental work "Creation of models, methods and means of increasing the safety and efficiency of the functioning of power pumping equipment", leading researcher.
The direction of S. Shevchenko's scientific research is related to the development of methods for the theory of sealing and vibration reliability of centrifugal machines.

Jerry Zeyu Gao is a professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at San Jose State University. Dr. Chung Yuan Kung is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. He earned his BS (1969) and MS (1972) in Physics from National Tsing Hua University, an MS in Physics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (1974), and a PhD in Materials Science from Northwestern University (1979). After postdoctoral research at Georgia Tech and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and six years in the U.S. semiconductor industry with Fairchild and National Semiconductor, Dr. Kung joined Taiwan’s ITRI in 1987 and served on NCHU’s faculty from 1991 until his retirement in 2016. His 2024 publications represent a culmination of decades spent unraveling the deep connections between geometry and material.
